Horses make great educators. They don't care who you are, where you are from, what you do for a living. They are great listeners of verbal and non-verbal communication. They will tell you what you need to know and not what you want to hear. If you are listing to a horses you will learn how to survive and thrive.
Why Horses
Horses just want to be part of the herd, feel safe, and be comfortable. That is what we all want. Horses give us a chance to learn about these things because they are resilient to their environment. When humans learn what it means to be part of family, safe, and comfortable then they become part of the herd. This is what it means to survive and thrive.

In Memory of Past Herd members
Aurora
Aurora is a great loss to the herd and the staff here at Spirits Healing Souls. Her loss has left the herd and the people who knew her heartbroken. At 32 years old she had a good long life RIP, pretty lady.
Rock
Rock is missed by all of us and had to be euthanized on September 19, 2013. His quality of life was diminishing due to health condition associated with his old age of 28. He will be missed by many. RIP, old boy.
